Precision Wire EDM Machined a Material Guide Arm Assembly Piece for the Food Industry

Recently, a client from the food industry contracted Signal Machine Company for their wire edm services. This piece would be used on an automated assembly line to guide material. We combined our advanced machining, welding, wire EDM, and assembly services to construct the part to fulfill precise client specifications, meeting precision tolerance as low as (+/-) .010 of an inch. The fixture was used to control the part's alignment during the welding and final wire EDM processing of the finished shape. Constructed from SS304 steel, the part measured approximately 1x4x.5 inches.
After the advanced machining was complete, we delivered the part to our client's facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Using a combination of our advanced precision machining services, Signal Machine was able to successfully build a material guide arm assembly for the food industry.
